Xiongwei Xiongwei has extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Xiongwei worked at Gigamon as a Principal Software Engineer, leading a team in designing and developing software for traffic monitoring in enterprise networks and clouds. Earlier in their career, Xiongwei held various software engineering and leadership roles at Premisys Communications, TCSI, Ericsson Research Canada, DMR Group, and FAMIC Automation. At FAMIC Automation, they led a team in developing a GUI tool for industrial control processes using a graphical language called Grafcet. The software was designed using Grady Booch's OO methodology and implemented in C++.
Xiongwei Xiongwei completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics between the years 1980 and 1984. Xiongwei then pursued a Master's degree in Applied Computer Sciences at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon from 1985 to 1987. Later on, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and earned a Ph.D. in Applied Computer Sciences from 1987 to 1992.
