Erik Mampaey was appointed Head Sustainable Cities as from the start of 2018.
He came to Gimv from ENGIE, where he had the function of Head of Acquisitions, Investments & Financial Advisory (AI&FA) Europe (Business units Benelux, North/East/Central/South Europe, UK/Ireland, Generation). As such, he was responsible for a long range of strategic and financial projects throughout Europe, managing an M&A / financial engineering team focusing on a very broad range of energy and sustainable topics.
Erik Mampaey graduated as Commercial Engineer at the University of Louvain, followed by an Executive Master degree in Corporate Finance at Solvay Brussels School.
