Huey-Ming Mak

Huey-Ming Mak is an accomplished professional in the field of organism engineering, currently serving as Senior Organism Engineer 2 and Associate Technical Director at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. since December 2016. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Organism Engineer 1 and Program Lead, as well as positions at Synlogic Therapeutics and Manus Biosynthesis, where significant contributions were made in enzyme engineering and high throughput screening assays. Huey-Ming holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis.
