Maung Nyan Win

Maung Nyan Win is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical business development and product/platform management within the gene and cell therapy sectors. Currently serving as Director of Technical Business Development at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., Maung focuses on cultivating strategic partnerships and developing differentiated value propositions within the Gene Therapy Portfolio. Previous roles include Head of Cell Therapy Product Development at Plum Tree Therapeutics, where significant advancements in engineered immune cells for solid tumors were achieved, and Director of Synthetic Biology at National Resilience, Inc., where Maung managed product development and collaborations. A strong background in research was built through positions at GenScript, La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company, Synthetic Genomics, Bio Architecture Lab, Stanford University, and California Institute of Technology. Maung holds a postdoctoral degree in Bioengineering from Stanford and a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biomolecular Engineering from Caltech.
