Maria Betancur

Maria Betancur is an experienced professional in programmatic events and STEM partnerships, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Girls Who Code since January 2025. Prior to this role, Maria was a Manager and Coordinator of STEM Partnerships at Liberty Science Center from December 2022 to January 2025. Maria also held the position of Teen Programs Coordinator at New-York Historical Society and previously worked as an Estate Guide at Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library. Early career roles include Multimedia Team Leader at Starr Center and internships in various capacities, including at the Smithsonian Institution. Maria received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington College in 2020.
