Kevin Owocki is the founder of Gitcoin and StepOut. Kevin has been in the tech industry for over 10 years, starting as a software engineer and then transitioning into product and technical leadership roles. Kevin is an expert in scaling software products and teams, and has led StepOut to millions of users. Kevin also has experience in fundraising, app quality, automated testing, and ticket lifecycle management. In 2013, Kevin was named as one of INC Magazine's "30 under 30" Most Promising Entrepreneurs. Kevin is also a TechStars accelerator program alumni. In 2017, Kevin founded Gitcoin Holdings, a company that provides event planning and management services for the blockchain industry. Kevin is also a member of the GitcoinDAO, which is responsible for governance and decision-making for the Gitcoin community.
Kevin Owocki studied computer science at the University of Delaware, where they earned a bachelor's degree.
