Jenna Ballestrino

Jenna Ballestrino is an accomplished leader in talent management and learning, currently serving as VP of Talent Management & Learning at GitHub since October 2019. In this role, Jenna leads a team dedicated to enhancing employee experiences across talent management, analytics, diversity & inclusion, learning & development, and onboarding. Prior experience at Microsoft spanned over sixteen years, where Jenna held several key positions, including Sr. Director of HR Learning and Development, and Director of the Microsoft Academy of College Hires, focusing on professional learning and development initiatives. Earlier career roles included positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the City of Seattle Youth Services Department, and King County Department of Youth Services, contributing to training and educational programs. Jenna holds a Master's Degree in Education with a focus on Instructional Design from Seattle University and a Bachelor's Degree in K-8 Education from Washington State University.
