Zohra Anwari

Zohra Anwari is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in product counsel. Currently serving as Principal Product Counsel at GitHub since September 2022, Zohra supports software engineering teams on matters related to intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and data privacy. Prior to this role, Zohra worked as Corporate Counsel for Microsoft’s Surface hardware engineering team from March 2020 to September 2022. Additional experience includes serving as an Attorney at Hall Render and holding various positions at AdvaMed, including Law Clerk and Senior Associate in Technology & Regulatory Affairs. Zohra holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University and a Doctor of Law from the George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School.
