Markus Gautschi

Markus Gautschi has extensive experience in the fragrance and flavor industry, having worked at Givaudan since March 1995 in various leadership roles, including Innovation Campus & Communications Manager, Head of Strategic Projects - Fragrances Science & Technology, and Head of Ingredients Research Center. Responsibilities included overseeing the design, synthesis, and development of novel fragrance ingredients and leading significant projects such as the conceptual phase of the Zürich Innovation Center. Prior to Givaudan, Markus Gautschi was a Postdoctoral Fellow at DuPont from October 1993 to December 1994, focused on synthesizing novel HIV inhibitors. Markus Gautschi holds a degree in Chemistry from ETH Zürich, obtained in 1993.
