Basavanneppa Gadekar

Basavanneppa (Basu) Gadekar is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and oil & gas industries. Currently serving as the Definition Lead at GKN Aerospace since December 2022, Basavanneppa is responsible for leading the definition of the Intermediate Compressor Case for the TXWB engine. Previous roles include Engineering Lead at Infosys and Technical Lead at QuEST Global, where Basavanneppa focused on the design and development of components for aero engines and oil & gas applications. With a strong background in manufacturing processes, assembly, and inspection of gas turbine components, Basavanneppa possesses expertise in design and development, reverse engineering, and adheres to standards such as ISO/ASME and GD&T. Basavanneppa holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
