Rene Millward has extensive experience in the testing and development fields. They worked at Glacier (Sanlam) from 2010, taking on the role of Lead Test Analyst. In this position, they were responsible for leading and monitoring the analysis, design, and execution of QA processes using the Agile Scrum methodology. They also mentored team members on best testing practices.
Prior to Glacier (Sanlam), Rene worked at Sanlam from 2006 to 2010. In this role as a Test Analyst and Automation Scriptor, they interpreted business requirements and produced test cases for manual and automation testing purposes. They also executed test scripts and validations.
Before joining Sanlam, Rene worked as a Developer at Old Mutual from 1998 to 2006. This experience provided them with a strong foundation in development skills.
Rene Millward completed Grade 12 at Salt River High School from 1989 to 1993, studying English, Maths, Physics, and Biology. Later, from 1994 to 1996, Rene attended Peninsula Technikon, where they earned a National Diploma in Information Technology.
