Eric Childs

Eric Childs has extensive work experience in engineering, manufacturing, and education. Eric most recently worked as a Senior Engineer II at Glaukos Corporation starting in 2022. Prior to that, Eric held roles at Siegfried Holding AG from 2017 to 2022, where they served as a Senior Process Engineer and Process Engineer. From 2013 to 2017, Eric worked at Baxalta, initially as a Manufacturing Associate learning fundamentals of Blood Plasma Fractionation, later becoming an Associate Manufacturing Supervisor in the AHF Department, and finally as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Fractionation department focusing on equipment performance and process improvements. Additionally, Eric worked at Neighborhood Academic Initiative as a Physics Teacher from 2013 to 2015 and as a Math Tutor from 2009 to 2014. Eric also played as a Defensive End/ Tight End for USC Varsity Football from 2009 to 2011.

Eric Childs pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Southern California from 2008 until 2013.
