Praveen Yalagandula

Praveen Yalagandula has extensive experience in software engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as a Software Engineer at Glean since July 2024. Prior to this, Praveen co-founded MerQube in August 2019, where duties included acting as Chief Technology Officer for an innovative index provider focused on financial and insurance industries. Previous roles include Senior Director of Engineering at Avi Networks, contributing to data analytics and system optimization, and Principal Scientist at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, where Praveen developed techniques for bandwidth management and network virtualization. Praveen's early career included research positions and internships at prestigious institutions, culminating in a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the same university and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
