Nigel Cowman has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Nigel is currently serving as the Group Finance Director at Glen Dimplex. Prior to this, they held the position of Commercial & Finance Director at Life Style Sports where they were responsible for managing various functions and played a key role in digital transformation and financial planning. Before that, Nigel worked at Nike UK & Ireland, holding positions such as General Manager - Nike Running & Nike Ireland and Director of Finance, Planning & Operations. Nigel also has experience working at Nike EMEA as the Finance Director for the Footwear and Equipment/Accessories Business Units. Nigel began their career as an Auditor at KPMG Ireland.
Nigel Cowman obtained their Master of Accountancy (M. Acc) degree in Accountancy from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 1994. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Comm) degree at University College Dublin from 1990 to 1993. Nigel also obtained the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 1996. In addition, they recently obtained a certification as a Certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute in 2022.
