Glen Raven
Derek Steed joined Glen Raven in 2012 after serving fifteen years as an outside general counsel and business attorney for closely held businesses while a partner with a North Carolina law firm.
Steed earned his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College and law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. He is active in numerous community organizations including service as chairman of the Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce, Alamance County Economic Development Foundation, the United Way of Alamance County and as a Trustee of Alamance Community College. Steed is also a member of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Chamber and the board of advisors of the Elon University Love School of Business.
