Vincent Mak, CPA, CMA has extensive experience in finance and strategy. Vincent currently holds the position of VP Strategy & CFO at Glenbow Museum. Prior to this, they worked at Swoop, where they held various roles including Head of Finance & Strategy, Head of Commercial & Finance, and Head of Revenue & Finance. Vincent also has experience at EY as a Manager Finance Performance Improvement. In addition, Vincent has a significant background in the railway industry, having worked at Canadian Pacific Railway in roles such as Finance Business Partner, Director of Internal Costing and Profitability, Director of Finance and Technology CPLS, Manager Yield Management, and Marketing Manager U.S. Grain. Vincent also has experience as a Financial Analyst and Business Analyst. Throughout their career, Vincent has demonstrated their ability to lead finance departments, provide financial planning and analysis, and drive profitability improvements.
Vincent Mak, CPA, CMA, obtained their DEC in Health Sciences from Marianopolis College in 1999-2001. Vincent went on to pursue a Bcom degree from McGill University, majoring in Finance with a concentration in Labour Management Relations, from 2001-2005. Vincent further enhanced their education by completing their CMA degree in Accounting from Certified Management Accountants during 2009-2011.

In 1966, Eric Lafferty Harvie made a transformative donation to the province when he gave his vast collection of art, artifacts and historical documents to the people of Alberta, along with an endowment to form Glenbow Museum. Glenbow was created to promote and encourage the acquisition and diffusion of knowledge of the human race, its arts, its history and the nature of the world in which it lives. This big idea has guided the museum for over 50 years and continues to inform Glenbow’s future.
