Niamh Van Heerden

Niamh Van Heerden (Kavanagh), PMP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Niamh currently works as an IT Project Manager at Glenveagh Properties PLC. Prior to this, they held various roles at A&W Food Services of Canada Inc., including Technology Project Manager, Business Analyst - Process and Applications Specialist, and Business Systems Support Specialist. In these roles, they were responsible for leading migration and implementation projects, designing and developing PMO methodologies, and providing support and training for software systems. Before their time at A&W, Niamh worked as an Account Service Representative at Paragon Testing at The University of British Columbia, where they were responsible for account coordination and client services.

Niamh Van Heerden (Kavanagh), PMP, has a diverse education history. Niamh completed their Bachelor of Business Studies with a focus on Marketing at Dublin City University from 2008 to 2012.

In 2019, Niamh pursued further education and obtained a Certificate in Technical Writing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Additionally, they completed a Certificate in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing from the BCIT School of Business + Media in the same year.

Before their college education, Niamh attended Sacred Heart secondary school from 1999 to 2005, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.

In terms of additional certifications, Niamh holds a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in March 2022. Niamh also earned a Certified Information Professional (CIP) certification from AIIM International in November 2019.
