Patrick Courcelles

Patrick Courcelles is a seasoned professional in international trade and diplomacy, currently serving as Deputy Director (Strategy) in the High Intensity Services Division of the Trade Commissioner Service at Global Affairs Canada since September 2015. Prior roles include Consul and Trade Commissioner for Clean Technology at the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles, and Vice-Consul and Trade Commissioner in Sao Paulo. Patrick also has experience in Southern and Eastern Africa trade relations and served as a consular agent in Puerto Vallarta. Earlier in the career, positions were held at the Consulate of Canada in Guadalajara and as a Trade Commissioner in India. Patrick's academic background includes an MBA in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Ottawa, along with a high school diploma from Collège régional Gabrielle-Roy.
