Maimuna Maibe

Maimuna Maibe serves as the Senior Director of Africa Advocacy & Partnerships at Global Citizen, where responsibilities include overseeing the design and implementation of the Africa policy and advocacy strategy and managing key government relations and partnerships. Previously, Maimuna held the position of Country Director for Nigeria at Global Citizen, guiding advocacy and public campaigns in the region. At Visionscape, Maimuna was the Group Head of Sustainability & CSR, responsible for global sustainability operations and long-term strategic planning. Maimuna also worked at the Lagos Waste Management Authority as Senior Scientific Manager, focusing on environmental strategies for corporate sustainability, and as a Senior Analyst in Sustainability Strategy at Accenture, interfacing with various organizations to develop sustainability strategies. Maimuna holds an MSc in Corporate Environmental Management from the University of Surrey, a BSc in Public Health/Studies from Coventry University, an International Baccalaureate Diploma from UWC Atlantic College, and a Diploma in Waste to Energy Technologies from Queensland University of Technology.
