George Ndung'U Kamau

George Ndung'u Kamau is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic inclusion and social protection, currently serving as the Country and Technical Assistance Team Lead at The Global Development Incubator since January 2020. Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of Kenya’s pilot Economic Inclusion programme, developing national poverty graduation strategies, and conducting research for scaling up initiatives. Prior to this role, George contributed as a Social Protection Specialist at both Wasafiri and UNICEF, where significant achievements included formulating inclusive policies and redesigning essential programs. George's experience also encompasses serving as Diversity and Inclusion Advisor at the Council of Governors, supporting the integration of inclusive development across all 47 counties in Kenya, and leading various humanitarian programs with HelpAge International.
