Barbara Ottmann

Barbara Ottmann, PhD, is an accomplished project manager currently working at Global-e since October 2021, providing bilingual project management and implementation support to enterprise clients primarily in the UK and DACH regions. With a strong background in strategic partner engagement and marketing from their previous role at Finastra, Ottmann has effectively managed high-profile client projects and developed valuable partnerships. An early graduate of Finastra's global graduate talent academy, Ottmann gained insights into financial services and tech environments. Previous experience includes community engagement roles at the University of Warwick and research positions including a fellowship at the Library of Congress. Ottmann holds a PhD in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Warwick, complemented by master's degrees from both the University of Warwick and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
