Michael Mattern

Michael Mattern has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Michael currently holds the position of Acting CPO / P&C Director at Global Fashion Group, where they lead the People & Culture function. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at MCM Consulting. Before that, they served as the COO at Fineway and then at THE ICONIC, where they were responsible for the Operations of the largest fashion eTailer in Australia. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Senior Operations Director APAC / COO at Groupon, and they also served as the COO at Groupon Australia. Michael has experience in the IT industry as well, having worked as a Manager at KPMG Australia in their IT Advisory group. Michael has played a leadership role as the President of the Northern Beaches Volleyball Association and has also worked as a Programmer at Siemens Corporate Research and as a Graduate at Texas Instruments.

From 1998 to 2005, Michael Mattern attended Hochschule Landshut, where they studied Computer Science and Systems Engineering. Michael did not receive a specific degree during this time.
