Marc Samwer

Marc Samwer is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the tech and media sectors. Currently serving as an advisor at Global Founders Capital since 2016, Samwer co-founded the prestigious Founders Forum in 2006, which hosts Europe's largest exclusive conference for CEOs and founders. As co-founder and CEO of Glocal Founders, Samwer has been instrumental in supporting emerging startups. Past roles include serving on the supervisory board of cleverbridge from 2006 to 2016 and co-founding Rocket Internet SE, where the company sought to replicate successful internet business models in new markets. Notably, Samwer played a key role as CEO International at Groupon and held investment positions at both LinkedIn and Facebook. Samwer's early career included co-founding Jamba! AG, and managing eBay's operations in Germany. Samwer holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Cologne and has pursued legal studies at various prestigious institutions.
