Finn Inge Thomassen

Finn Inge Thomassen currently serves as Department Manager at Global Maritime, overseeing the Sakkyndig Virksomhet in the GM Crane Department since February 2014, along with responsibilities as PRE for new cranes on the Jotun project since 2019. Prior to this role, Finn Inge Thomassen worked as a Crane and Lifting Advisor at Global Maritime from April to December 2013 and served as an instructor at Rogaland Kranskole from August 2006 to March 2013, where responsibilities included developing a new offshore crane simulator and teaching various crane-related courses. Earlier experience includes positions as a crane operator at Talisman Energy and BP. Educational qualifications include a degree in Crane and Lifting trades earned as a privatist in 2010 and attendance at Bergeland videregående from 1978 to 1979.
