Robert Askins is an experienced naval architect and operations manager currently serving as the UK Country Manager at Global Maritime, where responsibilities include overseeing the London operation and ensuring strategic objectives are met. Prior roles include Senior Principal Naval Architect and Design Services Technical Lead, with a focus on marine consultancy projects and management of design services teams. Prior to Global Maritime, Robert held various technical management roles at Lloyd's Register, including Manager of the Ship Emergency Response Service and Technical Manager overseeing multiple disciplines. Robert began professional experience at Three Quays Marine Services, leading technical projects and providing consultancy services. Robert holds a 2:1 degree in Naval Architecture from the University of Strathclyde.
