Dr. Rony Delgarde (He/His)

Dr. Rony Delgarde is an award-winning global humanitarian, social entrepreneur, and visionary leader with over 25 years of cross-sector experience in public policy, environmental innovation, international development, and nonprofit management. He is the Founder and CEO of Global Paint for Charity. This pioneering nonprofit and social enterprise has recovered and distributed over 5 million gallons of surplus paint to underserved communities in over 44 countries, transforming lives and landscapes while diverting paint from landfills and revitalizing underserved communities.

Dr. Delgarde’s visionary projects include revitalizing the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Atlanta, painting homes for elderly veterans across Atlanta, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, and Tampa, and launching international mural initiatives throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa. His organizations are recognized for transforming discarded paint into a tool for healing, environmental justice, mental well-being, and hope. He is a recipient of the National ENERGY GLOBE Award, Metro Atlanta Chamber E3 Award, and 2024 Atlanta Startup Award Finalist for Best Startup for Good. Dr. Delgarde has been honored among the 63 Most Impressive Charity CEOs (CEO Boardroom) and Top 8 Global Humanitarians (Raptim Humanitarian Travel).

His work has been featured in The New York Times, CNN International, CNBC, Nasdaq, AJC, and Fox News, and he currently serves on advisory boards for 100 Black Men of Las Vegas, USGLC, SkillsUSA, and Collegiate 100.

With a Doctorate in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and an MBA in Health Information Technology, Dr. Delgarde brings deep expertise in systems thinking, sustainable innovation, and policy development. He is deeply grateful to possess a wealth of high-demand skills and cross-sector experience in five critical areas: government, private industry, commercial property management, nonprofit consulting, and education and research.
