Mariana Fusaro is an accomplished communications professional, currently serving as Editor in Chief of Pulse Forward Magazine and Communications Manager at Global Pulse Confederation since September 2021, where strategic communication efforts support the global pulse industry. Prior to this role, Mariana held various positions including Communications Manager and branded content strategist at La Nacion and other media outlets from March 2017 to August 2021, and served as an editor at La Nacion and a journalist for notable publications. With a background in academia as a university professor and researcher in Spanish grammar, literature, and linguistics from 2004 to 2009, Mariana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Literature and Linguistics from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, alongside additional training in digital marketing and social project management.

Global Pulse Confederation

The Global Pulse Confederation (GPC, formerly known as CICILS IPTIC) represents all segments of the pulse industry value chain–from growers, researchers, logistics suppliers, traders, exporters, and importers to government bodies, multilateral organizations, processors, canners, and consumers. GPC membership includes 20 national associations and over 600 members of the private sector. GPC works for transparency and sustainability in all sectors and aspires to contribute in as many ways possible to global food security and improved health and nutrition. The GPC Executive Board consists of up to 30 members from all over the world elected from the membership. Board positions are voluntary, non-profit and carry no remuneration. GPC is headquartered in Dubai and licensed under the Dubai Government authority, Dubai Multi Commodity Centre (DMCC).
