Aladdin Seaifan

Aladdin Seaifan is a skilled Software Developer currently employed at Global Relay since September 2023. Prior to this role, Aladdin worked at TD from April 2017 to September 2023, focusing on the development of RESTful APIs utilizing Node.js and Java Spring Boot while integrating these APIs with relational databases such as MS SQL. Aladdin also has experience as a Research Assistant at the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics, where new features were implemented in the Open-Source Python module Galpy, and performance optimization was conducted using C programming. Earlier, as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics, Aladdin developed a complex Python algorithm with multi-processor capabilities, executed on the supercomputer SciNet. Aladdin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Toronto, earned between 2012 and 2016.
