
Global Surgical Initiatives Inc. is a registered Non-Government Organisation (NGO) founded in Jinja, Eastern Uganda by members of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York. The Kyabirwa Surgical Center is positioned to become a center of excellence for surgery, healthcare technology, research and training while operating as a low-carbon economic growth source (100% renewable- solar). The Health Unit is licensed by Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council. (UMDPC)
