Amanda Boekholt currently serves as Treasurer for the Global UTM Association since July 2023 and co-chairs the Outreach Committee for the InterUSS Platform while also holding the position of Advisory Committee Chair. Amanda has been a Legal Advisor and Partner Manager at the Federal Office of Civil Aviation Switzerland since June 2019, focusing on innovation, digitalization, and drone legislation. Additionally, Amanda acts as Secretary General for Swiss U-Space Implementation until July 2024. Previous experience includes a legal internship at SICHH and a consultancy role at the Fédération romande des consommateurs. Amanda holds a Master of Law in Intellectual Property from Université de Neuchâtel and is pursuing a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Data Protection from UniDistance Suisse.

Global UTM Association (GUTMA)
The Global UTM Association is a nonprofit based in Lausanne, Switzerland. The goals of the association are to: a. Identify actions to be taken to safely, securely and efficiently integrate Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into national airspace systems; b. Draft and distribute an interoperability blueprint for traffic management of UAS; c. Collaborate with regulators and other stakeholders worldwide to identify standards, as well as scalable and compliant technical solutions, to the development of UAS Traffic Management (UTM) systems; d. Instigate and facilitate partnerships between manned and unmanned users of the airspace; e. And engage with other associations and groups facing similar challenges. The association is global both geographically and by activity sectors. Current members already represent 10 countries across six industries: air navigation service providers, UAS manufacturers, UAS operators, UTM software and infrastructure providers, regulatory bodies, and academic experts.
