Verity Mitchell is a Water Analyst at Global Water Intelligence (GWI) since July 2023, responsible for writing articles for both GWI and The Water Report, focusing on regulatory, policy, and competition issues in the UK water sector. In addition, Mitchell serves as an independent consultant and editor for "What's Next for UK Water" at EdenTree Investment Management, contributing expertise as a member of the EdenTree Responsible Investment Advisory Panel. Previously, from 1998 to January 2023, Mitchell held the position of Director of Utilities Research at HSBC, covering major utilities and water companies in the UK, France, and the US. Education includes studies at UCL.
