George Ellison

George Ellison is a seasoned Broadcast Journalist currently working with Global since October 2021, serving as a newsreader for Capital, Capital Xtra, and Radio X, as well as a reporter for LBC. Prior roles include being a breakfast newsreader for Capital Birmingham, Heart West Midlands, and Smooth Radio West Midlands, alongside contributions to drive time broadcasts. Experience also encompasses volunteer work with FoodCycle and a previous position at Fosse 107, where George expanded news coverage and managed online presence. George holds a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of York.
