Rachel Babbage

Rachel Babbage is an experienced broadcast journalist and showbiz correspondent with a diverse background in entertainment and news reporting. Currently working at Global since September 2014, Rachel has held various roles including Showbiz Correspondent, Group Programming Assistant, and Senior Broadcast Journalist for Heart Essex and Heart Four Counties. Rachel's responsibilities involve programming support across Global's radio brands, interviewing high-profile individuals, and setting news agendas. Prior to Global, Rachel was an Entertainment Reporter for Digital Spy and a Broadcast Journalist for Anglian Radio, where major stories were covered extensively. Rachel is academically equipped with a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the London College of Communication and a joint honours degree in History and Ancient History from the University of Nottingham.
