Siân Hamer

Siân Hamer is a Digital Managing Editor at Global, focusing on content development and social media engagement for Classic FM and Smooth Radio since September 2019. Responsibilities include creating and scheduling digital content, monitoring social media trends, and driving website traffic. Prior experience as an Associate Consultant of Digital Media at the NHS Transformation Unit involved managing CMS and social media channels while producing multimedia content. As Editor for The Northern Quota, Siân maintained an up-to-date news website, sub-edited submissions, and engaged in public speaking. Earlier roles include Radio Host at 96.5 Bolton FM and Ward Clerk for the NHS, providing a strong foundation in media and communications. Siân holds a BA in Multimedia Journalism from The Manchester Metropolitan University and has completed qualifications in Mental Health First Aid and PRINCE2 Management.
