Tom Watts

Tom Watts is a seasoned broadcast journalist with extensive experience in news presentation and reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Broadcast Journalist at Global since June 2016, Tom has read the news on popular stations such as LBC, Classic FM, Capital, and Heart. Tom also has a history of freelance work, including roles as a cover presenter on LBC London News and travel news reporting on LBC. Previously, Tom worked at BBC News from April 2019 to January 2023, where duties included serving as a newsreader at World Service radio and General News Service. Other past positions include broadcasting travel news at INRIX from January 2015 to October 2016 and producing local bulletins as a Broadcast Journalist at Radio Exe from August 2011 to July 2013. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Birkbeck, University of London, completed between 2014 and 2017, and has educational credentials from Exeter School.
