Kevin Boyd

Kevin Boyd is a seasoned technology and innovation leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Technology and Innovation at GlobalFoundries since July 2015, where responsibility includes leading the Strategic Technology Team in Malta, NY to deliver specialized technology solutions for clients. Prior to this role, Kevin held several positions at IBM from January 2003 to June 2015, including 14HP MOL/BEOL Integration Manager and 14SOI BEOL Integration Manager, overseeing integration engineering teams focused on advancing 14nm technology. Additionally, Kevin managed etch processes for multiple technology nodes at a 300mm manufacturing facility in East Fishkill, NY. Earlier career experiences include roles as an Etch Engineer at Lam Research Corp and as a Field and Application Engineer at Tra-Con. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, earned between 1995 and 1999.
