Varun Nagaraju

Varun Nagaraju is a Principal Engineer at GlobalFoundries since December 2020, focusing on yield enhancement for 22-55nm technology. Varun has experience in supporting technology production ramps and statistical analysis for yield improvements. Prior to this role, Varun served as an Assistant Project Engineer at the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering from November 2016 to December 2020, where responsibilities included optimizing oxide thin films for gas sensors and collaborating on projects with ISRO. Varun also completed a Master’s thesis on HfO2 based Ferroelectric Field Effect Transistors at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and gained internship experience at the Indian Institute of Science. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sensors and Control System Engineering from M.S. Ramaiah University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BMS Institute of Technology.
