Kyle Pickens, CFA, serves as Vice President of Strategy and Communications and will be responsible for the overall investor communication strategy of Globalstar as well as helping drive the strategic efforts of the Company across satellite and spectrum initiatives. Mr. Pickens joined Globalstar from Steelhead Partners, a long time Globalstar investor.
Mr. Pickens joined Steelhead Partners as an analyst at the end of 2009 and was promoted to Partner of the Navigator funds in 2015. At Steelhead, his responsibilities included coverage of the Telecom, Media and Technology space. Previously, Mr. Pickens was with Cadogan Management LLC, a fund-of-funds firm, where he was a director and an investment committee member. He interned at Cadogan while an undergraduate student, then joined full time as an analyst upon graduating in 2002. In 2005, the firm launched a fund of funds/hedge fund hybrid vehicle for which Kyle had day-to-day responsibility. As a senior analyst, he conducted fundamental research in several sectors and countries, managed the fund’s operational issues, and developed client relationships. Mr. Pickens holds a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Globalstar, Inc. (Globalstar) provides mobile satellite services (MSS), including voice and data communications services globally through satellite. The Company provides wireless communications services in areas not served or underserved by terrestrial wireless and wireline networks and in circumstances where terrestrial networks are not operational due to natural or man-made disasters. It offers voice and data communication services over its network of in-orbit satellites and its active ground stations (gateways), which it refers to collectively as the Globalstar System. The Company's services are available only with equipment designed to work on its network two-way voice communication and data transmissions (Duplex) using mobile or fixed devices, and one-way data transmissions (Simplex) using a mobile or fixed device that transmits its location and other information to a central monitoring station, including certain SPOT and Simplex products.
