Alexandros Soumelidis

Alexandros Soumelidis is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and management within the energy sector. Currently serving as a member of the expert team at GlobalWonks and Atheneum since 2019, Alexandros holds multiple leadership roles at PPC S.A., including Chief Production Design & Development Officer and Director of Power Plants, overseeing significant coal power generation facilities. Previous experience includes co-ownership and technical directorship at DELSA SA, management consultancy at SPQE OE, and various engineering roles in power generation and quality management systems. Alexandros also has a military background as a Police Sergeant with NATO and a solid educational foundation with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MBA from the International Faculty of Sheffield. Additionally, Alexandros is a patent holder for the production process of cylinder brushes.
