Joel Swanson serves as the Americas Business Leader at Globema since October 2020, overseeing innovative products and geo-spatial services across the Americas. Prior experience includes leadership roles at GE Digital, where Joel held titles such as Americas Growth Leader and Business Solutions Leader in the telecom sector, contributing as a technical expert and sales to delivery team leader. Joel has also consulted independently in telecom engineering, supporting business development and process improvement. Previous positions include Principal Consultant at we-do-IT, Director of Global Solutions Engineering at Synchronoss Technologies and SPATIALinfo, and various engineering roles at General Electric and Smallworld Systems Inc. Joel holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder and has additional educational credentials from the University of Denver and Ohlone College.
