Steve Whitley has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various companies. Steve started their career as a Software Engineer at DRM Labs in 2003 and then moved to GlobeRanger as a Software Engineer until 2005. Steve joined RedRiver Systems in 2005 and worked as a Senior Engineer Software until 2007. Steve then founded their own company, Vizual F/X Studios, where they served as Founder and CTO from 2007 to 2009. Currently, Steve is working as a Technical Lead in Software Engineering at GlobeRanger, a Fujitsu company, since 2009.
Steve Whitley holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in various areas such as leadership, team management, diversity and inclusion, and technology strategy. GlobeRanger products include the iMotion(tm) Platform which provides the software infrastructure that connects the physical world of automated data collection using RFID technology with enterprise software systems. GlobeRanger has created a suite of solution accelerators and configurable applications atop the iMotion platform to quickly develop custom RFID solutions. The applications include asset tracking, supply chain shipping and receiving, and perishables supply chain.
