João Freitas

João Freitas has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering roles. João currently works at ABC Glofox as a Software Engineering Team Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Trustev, where they held various positions including Solutions Architect, Lead Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. At Trustev, they were involved in designing and implementing components of a scalable and distributed online fraud prevention platform. João also worked at Global Shares as a Software Engineer, where they developed modules and features for an Equity Plan Management Platform and performed UI/UX design and implementation. Additionally, they had an international internship at LatitudeN GmbH, where they worked as a Software Engineer on a mobile tourism guide application. Their earliest work experience was at Novabase Consulting as a Software Engineer, where they focused on software requirements specifications and implementation of HR management solutions.

João Freitas has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technologies and Computer Science from Instituto Superior Técnico. João also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the same institution. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design using UML from NobleProg.
