Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute
Lisa is a financial leader with extensive experience working in nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. Most recently, Lisa served as Associate Director of Finance and Administration at Laspau, an affiliate of Harvard University supporting institutions of higher education in Latin America. Prior to that, she worked as Grants and Finance Manager at TSNE MissionWorks, serving a portfolio of nonprofit organizations in fields ranging from food access to homelessness to youth work. In a former life, Lisa was an English teacher for international students, and has traveled to 18 countries.
Lisa is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and has served on DEI committees at a number of her prior organizations. She is currently treasurer of Everett Youth Soccer, where her two sons play, and is a proud child of Dorchester, MA. She is enjoying the opportunity to appreciate the northern coasts of Massachusetts that had previously been unknown to this self-proclaimed “city girl”.
