Sadie Salazar

Teaching Assistant & Laboratory Technician at Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute

Sadie comes to GMGI with a background in teaching and marine science. She had the honor of being a 2020 graduate, graduating from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, earning a B.S. in Marine Science and a minor in Math. After earning her bachelors, Sadie spent a year teaching physics, chemistry, and math to high school students with learning differences in Washington DC. As a foreign service brat, Sadie has spent more than half her life abroad, having lived and gone to school in six countries on four continents. She is also a certified diver who, ironically, is prone to sea sickness.
