Florian Bersier

Founder, CEO at Gmelius

Florian Bersier has been involved in a variety of work experiences since 2008. Florian began as a Researcher at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2008, followed by a role as a Teaching Assistant in Advanced Quantitative Analysis and Statistics at the University of Oxford in 2010. In 2012, they took on a role as a Cyber Risks Consultant as a Freelance Researcher. In 2016, they became the Founder and CEO of Gmelius, a 360° email collaboration platform, and won the Swisscom Startup Challenge in 2019. In 2019, they participated in the Y Combinator Summer Batch. Most recently, they have been acting as a Mentor for Wingman Campus Fund.

Florian Bersier completed their PhD at the University of Oxford in the Oxford Internet Institute from 2009-2014. Florian then obtained a MEng in Quantitative Economics and Finance from the École Polytechnique in 2009. Florian also obtained a Master of Research (MRes) in Economic Analysis and Policy (APE) from the École Normale Supérieure and Paris School of Economics in 2009. Florian obtained a BSc in Economics from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne and a Diploma in Economics from the University of Kent.
