Prior to this role, Lucas worked as an Independent Consultant – Programmer/Analyst at Standish Mellon Asset Management from March 1999 to November 2006, focusing on development across database and web platforms, as well as business analysis and project management. Lucas began the career at MFS Investment Management as a Programmer/Analyst from February 1998 to February 1999, developing applications for various departments. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Duke University, obtained in 1996.
