Roger Schlierkamp, MSc, PE has worked as a Principal and Director of Pavement Engineering at GMU since July 2014. Roger has also been an Instructor at Santiago Canyon College since June 2016. In addition, they have served as an Executive Board Member - Treasurer at Engineers Without Borders Orange County (EWB OC) from February 2014 to February 2016. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Pavement Engineer at Twining, Inc. from May 2011 to July 2014, where they managed quality control and assurance projects and conducted pavement evaluations and analyses. Roger also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Nevada, Reno from May 2009 to May 2011, where they collaborated with city engineers and conducted mix designs and lab tests for pavement research projects.

Roger earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the same university. In addition to their academic achievements, Roger holds a certification as a Registered Civil Engineer from the California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
