Our Mission Goalbook’s mission is to empower teachers to transform instruction so that ALL students can succeed. We partner with 1,000+ school districts across 47 states, working closely with leadership teams to improve instructional practice.
Who We’re Looking For You’ve worked as a reading interventionist or specialized reading teacher with students who have a wide range of reading instruction needs and disability designations. You are an expert in multiple Science of Reading-based frameworks, and the Science of Reading is embedded in every aspect of your instruction, planning, and assessment of students. You are a regular participant in the IEP process and have written reading-related IEP goals and present levels of performance. Additionally, you consistently seek out opportunities for improvement in every project, lesson plan, or initiative you’re involved in. You’re also curious about emerging technologies and how they can continue to support students and teacher outcomes in the K-12 school system.
This role requires flexibility, since project assignments can be distinctly different from quarter to quarter. You will use a variety of methods, including AI and collaboration with contracted content creators, to create research-based, standards-aligned content that supports students with disabilities with access to reading instruction. The ideal candidate thrives in constantly evolving environments, loves to learn, and is excited to lead projects that do not align with their previously-established areas of expertise. This role requires the ability to be critical of one’s own work and open to feedback.
