For over 20 years, Noha has held leadership roles where she led innovation and digitization efforts in leading banks and insurance companies in Emerging markets. Over the past decade, Noha has succeeded in building a flourishing FinTech Ecosystem in Egypt, where she established Egypt’s first FinTech accelerator, facilitating early stage funding into tech start-ups.
Noha also founded the Egyptian FinTech Association- a non-for-profit that was awarded the best FinTech hub award in 2021 by the Global Economics, working closely with regulators and the private sector to build a network of support for FinTechs and inclusive tech businesses.
In 2018 Noha expanded her ecosystem-building efforts to cover the Middle East and Africa, when she Co-founded the Africa FinTech Network, the Union of FinTech associations bringing 34 FinTech ecosystems around the region together, supporting FinTech innovation and inclusive finance across the MEA region. Noha is an angel investor and has served as an advisor and board member for various FinTech Accelerator/VCs in the Middle East and Africa region including Seedstars, Startupbootcamp, Pride-capital and Village Capital MENA among others.
