Josh O.

Josh O. has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Josh worked as an IT Engineer at GoCardless from November 2017 to the present. Prior to that, they served as an Infrastructure Support Specialist at Harrods from June 2015 to October 2017. In this role, they provided technical support for Harrods' IT infrastructure, monitored the performance of infrastructure, and managed business systems operations. Josh also worked as a Freelance IT Consultant for a brief period in 2015. Before that, they were employed at Darrick Wood School from September 2007 to August 2014, where they held the position of Lead Instructor for IT vocational courses, as well as the role of Virtual Learning environment Coordinator from September 2010 to August 2012.

Josh O. began their education in 2002 at the University of Greenwich, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing in 2005. Josh then pursued further studies at Canterbury Christ Church University from 2006 to 2007, earning a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with a focus on Information Technology.

In 2010, Josh enrolled at The Open University, where they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Networking between 2010 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Josh has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and later that year, they also obtained the Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) certification. In 2014, they achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) certification and the VMware Certified Professional 5 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) certification. Additionally, in 2016, they completed a Docker: The Basics certification from LinkedIn.
